New furniture! And our apartment

We bought furniture last week.. A table, a couch and a chair! We love it. Things are starting to settle down now at our new apartment. I am loving summer and enjoying the pool at the apartment (so is Kara and Bria 😊). Brett is busy working a lot but I do make him relax and enjoy summer with me from time to time.

Golfing Weekend

The men went golfing for the weekend at Boyne so the ladies and the kids got together for pizza at Libby's. Then we walked to get some ice cream. It was a beautiful night. 80 and sunny. The kids had so much fun playing together and the ladies chatted and had a drink!

Saturday Morning Breakfast

Brett has been on call and working the last few nights. We needed a good breakfast at Wolfgangs!

A Little Mean Green Juice

Brett and I made a delicious green juice. Apples, kale, lemon, cucumber, celery, kiwi...delicious!

Brett and I bought a juicer today! It is fun and sooo good.

Shopping trip!

Mom and I went outlet shopping in Howell! We found some really good deals...and I figured out I get 15% educators discount at Jcrew!

"A Whole New World"

Well Brett finally got glasses! After about 2 minutes of wearing them he said "it's a whole new world." He was being clumsy all day because of them! It was funny. Here's a pic of his new glasses and subscription sunglasses....he's an old man now! But still a stud! And no more squinting!

Real Adults :-)

Brett and I are both in the groove at work. Brett is very busy with a project.  I am just finishing winter break. I had Friday and today off. It was wonderful and I feel rejuvenated and ready to go! (at least until Spring Break). We took the first step toward buying a house this weekend- we met with the bank to just investigate and learn about mortgage loans, etc. It will still be another year or so until we buy, but we just wanted to be sure we were on the right track! It is crazy how fast you become real adults :-)

6 Months :-)

It has been 6 months since our wedding! We cannot believe it.  We feel so blessed for all we have. Great families, friends and jobs and most of all, each other. Life is good :-)
